Updating the Brand and strengthening Brand Recognition
Increasing Brand recognition and updating image for 50th Anniversary.
In honour of its 50th Anniversary, Branch 168 chose to create a new Brand look for the branch and members. The new identity would included the development of a new logo, the designing of logowear and gear, launching a branded Facebook page, Branded eAds, a pdf Catalogue, Ads, posters and signage.
It was necessary for the new Branch identity, to incorporate a new Branch Logo, plus the National Brand Identity as well as a territorial identifier. The objective was to also create a logo that would have a 50th Anniversary identifier that could be dropped from the design moving forward. The final design was a badge style logo in recognition of the Branch's relationship to the military community, created with elements easily identifiable with the arctic (the stone Inukshuk and midnight sun on a snow landscape).
